Stork & Seaward live at the Swedish Studio Sessions 12 dec 2011
With over 28 years of Djing experience between them. Neil Seaward and Marcus Stork are pushing their technical knowledge and dancefloor sensitivity to new levels. Coming from different yet very similar musical backgrounds they started playing together at their collaborative club night Concrete Royale in Stockholm. Starting on four decks it was only a matter of time before they started to use the Tractor S4 system to fully exploit their music. Using four decks and multiple effects, they use songs and loops as building blocks to make something greater than its parts. Neil will be crunching together two beats in a loop with some effects and Marcus will bring in a melody over the top. To see them work is a sonic and visual feast. Never taking their hands from the mixer, there is a sense that they are pushing their craft forward. Musically, it is sometimes hard to define what they do, it all depends on the time and place.
